Denise’s Beer Bread

Ingredients:

3 cups plain bread flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup sugar

340ml beer

1/2 cup melted butter

Method:

Sift all dry ingredients, mix in the beer, and place the mixture in a loaf tin.

Pour melted butter on top of the dough,

Bake at 190° for 1 hour.

Variations:

Add cheese or sweetcorn for additional taste or crunch!

Reduce the amount of sugar
